Groups

Membership of Locks Heath u3a gives access to a wide variety of Interest Groups. These groups meet in various venues ranging from member's homes to local halls/rooms and are informal and friendly.

Details of the times and location of group meetings may be found by following the links to the individual groups below, but may vary from month to month. If a group is full you would be welcome to join us, and we could help you set up a new group.

When you join some groups you may have to contribute towards the costs such as room hire and refreshments. Other activities such a visit to a local museum or lunch out are pay-as-you-go. 

u3a works on the principle of cooperative self help. All our groups are run voluntarily by members themselves. So if you have an interest why not share it? It only takes two or three people with similar interests to form a group, and then others will join in. Everyone in the group helps each other and shares their knowledge.
