This is a guided tour by Andrew Negus. We will meet by the Royal Dockyard entrance on the Hard. You can come by the X4 bus or you can travel by car using the Park & Ride off the M275.  Both buses end at The Hard. 

In the 12th Century streets, we shall walk in the steps of royalty, harlots, tars, and Nelson himself. We will visit fortifications from several different centuries and see the site of a duke’s grisly murder and the home of a world-famous cobbler.

There will be evidence of the Blitz, but also some attractive buildings, which include the Cathedral, and The Garrison Church. There are also some surprises!

Lastly and perhaps most importantly, we shall see where the glory that is Portsmouth Football Club began!
