This 3 mile walk takes us along the old railway line, a lovely wooded track with a few seats along the way, along farm tracks returning on a new path through the park and a small housing estate. We go through one or two fields where there could be cows. There are a few stiles, though some have been replaced with kissing gates.

Please be aware of the weather on Wednesday and remember sunscreen, water and a hat. Some of the paths are narrow and there are stinging nettles in patches. Trousers and good shoes are recommended.

We will meet in Bassingwell Street Car Park in Bishop's Waltham (SO32 1PA). You get 1 hour free and then we paid £1 for 2 hours which was fine for the walk and coffee. Please share cars to save spaces and the environment.
