'Knitting Yarns' is a very small group.

Over the last few years we have knitted premature baby clothes which were gratefully received by QA Hospital, Portsmouth. 

Following that we knitted scarves, hats and gloves/ mittens for those in need. 

One member has crafted snowmen that were sold for a Cancer charity and we knitted remembrance poppies one autumn.  It doesn't have to be knitting, you can crochet or craft. 

There are no rules, if you would prefer to knit for your grandchildren or yourself that's fine. The important part is to while away a couple of hours productively with friends, which we are now, and enjoy a chat, cup of tea and a biscuit.  There are times when some of us don't actually knit at all!
