Locks Heath

Welcome to Locks Heath u3a

National u3a

u3a is a network of over 1,000 locally run groups throughout the UK. Each u3a group provides opportunities for people no longer in full-time work to join with others to explore new ideas, skills, and activities while making friends and having fun.

u3a offer online talks, workshops and courses which are free of charge in a wide variety of subjects. All members may also take part, in various projects, initiatives and competitions.

Locks Heath u3a

Locks Heath u3a has a membership of about 200 local people and is run by a committee which is elected by its members.  We meet to socialise and learn through participation in a wide range of member-led activities that are on offer in our Groups and All Member Events.

We offer wonderful opportunities to ‘Learn, Laugh, Live ‘ – the motto of the national u3a network.

We hope you find something to interest you and look forward to seeing you at our next Open Monthly Meeting.

Open Monthly Meetings

Our open monthly meetings are held at 2pm on the last Friday of the month in the Church Hall at St. John's Church, Locks Heath. About 100 members usually attend to listen to a talk by a guest speaker and to socialise. Please arrive in time to register and find your seat.
